The Litigation Management Coordinator provides a full range of administrative, research, and analytical support for the Litigation Management Unit. The role supports the critical relationships between Coverys and our Defense Counsel partners.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Timely monitor email inboxes utilized by law firms and internal colleagues.
Respond to communications from law firms and resolve administrative issues.
Accurately enter data and generate reports in Excel, SharePoint, Salesforce, Datalytics, and other platforms.
Create and maintain law firm information in Salesforce and other programs.
Create and update timekeeper and rate information in Salesforce and Datalytics.
Research, analyze, and resolve invoicing and billing related issues.
Coordinate with the Corporate Finance Department and Claim staff as needed to facilitate payment/allocation to the proper entity/claim file.
Draft and distribute written communication to law firms and internal staff.
Gather data and other information from multiple sources to allow for analysis by other members of the Litigation Management Unit.
Participate in or initiate special projects within the Litigation Management Unit to further develop the Unit’s efficiency and efficacy.
Other duties and responsibilities as necessary to promote the LMU.
Education, Experience, Competencies & Values
Bachelor’s Degree, or Paralegal Certificate with a minimum of three years’ experience in legal or insurance fields, preferred.
Knowledge of litigation process and procedure, preferred.
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Knowledge of Salesforce a plus.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Ability to perform mathematical calculations (including simple accounting calculations) with a calculator.
Ability to enter data accurately.
Detail-oriented and ability to research, edit, and proofread documents.
Strong time management and organizational skills.
Excellent written and spoken communication.
Professional demeanor in all communications with customers, clients, and colleagues.
The base salary range for this role is $53,000-$72,000. Individual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors that are unique to each candidate including geographic location, skill set, experience, qualifications and education.
