Trial Attorney

The Hiring Advisors is partnering with a Law Group to hire an Attorney. Practice Areas include Employment Law, Personal Injury, Medical Malpractice, Real Estate Law, and more.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing cases from pre-litigation through settlement. If you have experience scaling a firm’s practice by representing clients in court, Please Apply!

Responsibilities:

• Management of cases from pre-litigation through trial/settlement
• Thoroughly investigate cases by researching relevant laws/precedents and gathering evidence
• Draft correspondence and regularly communicate with clients, experts, and defense counsel
• Prepare for court proceedings, including selecting juries, preparing witnesses, and presenting evidence
• Negotiate settlements to resolve cases outside of court
• Handle appeals after a trial or settlement (when necessary)

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in litigation
• 1+ years of deposition experience
• Excellent research and writing skills
• Knowledge of California Civil Procedure and Local Court Rules
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Superior time management and multi-tasking skills
• Organized, detail-oriented, and a self-starter
• Experience with Employment Law, Personal Injury, Medical Malpractice, and/or Real Estate Law is a huge plus
