About the Role:Were on the hunt for an Employment Law Associate to join our clients team in Boston. This role involves 4+ years of employment litigation experience with responsibilities that include handling all aspects of employment litigation, drafting employment policies and agreements, and providing counsel on HR-related compliance matters. Your Mission:- Handle all aspects of employment litigation, including discrimination, leave, wage and hour disputes, non-compete, and breach of contract matters.
- Provide employment and HR-related counseling, advising clients on compliance with complex employment laws and regulations.
- Draft and review employment-related policies and agreements, including employee handbooks, employment agreements, and separation agreements.
- Conduct workplace investigations and deliver compliance training to employers.
- Collaborate with colleagues and clients to develop strategies for managing and mitigating employment-related risks.
- Employment Law Expertise: Proven experience in handling employment litigation and advising on HR-related compliance issues.
- Client Counseling: Strong ability to provide legal guidance on employment policies, agreements, and compliance matters.
- Litigation Skills: Skilled in managing employment disputes before state and federal courts and administrative agencies.
- Communication & Collaboration: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team setting.
- Juris Doctor (JD) or LLM from an ABA-accredited law school.
- Admitted or eligible for admission in Massachusetts.
- 4+ years of employment litigation experience in state and federal courts, as well as before administrative agencies.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in team settings and prioritize competing responsibilities.
