
Job Description
Technical requirements include:
- Maintain and manage Matter Budget screen within Aderant application
- Prepare, format and review budget reports using Aderant and Excel
- Work with attorneys, assistants and admin staff to prevent budget capping
- Assist attorneys and assistants with creating and editing budgets
- Update and monitor budgets on ebilling vendor sites
- Work with attorneys, assistants, and e-Billing team to ensure billing guidelines are enforced and in line with budget requirements.
- Assess and prioritize work load to meet deadlines.
- Back-up the e-Billing Appeals Analyst
- Manage special projects and other duties as requested and assigned
- Provide excellent customer service to our attorneys, clients and other Firm personnel.
- Demonstrate knowledge and adherence to basic firm policies, procedures, and processes
Qualifications and Prior Experience:
- Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Professional oral and written communications skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all day-to-day activities.
- Demonstrate initiative to proactively identify problems and take action to remediate.
- Willingness and ability to function as part of a team.
- Ability to prioritize and execute on a diverse range of tasks.
- Knowledge and understanding of general accounting policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of legal time and billing software (Aderant and BillBlast) is preferred
- Proficiency in MS SQL is preferred
