
ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE SPECIALIST
JOB DESCRIPTION: Singleton Schreiber, LLP is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our Accounting team. This role will be responsible for managing the accounts receivable process, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing, payment collection, and reconciliation of receivable transactions. The ideal candidate will have experience in accounting, strong organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate across departments.
This is a hybrid position based in our San Diego office, requiring three days in-office and two days remote.
SALARY AND BENEFITS:
$30.00-$33.00 per hour

JOB DUTIES:
- Prepare and issue invoices to clients.
- Process check deposits and enter payments in QuickBooks for both Settlement & Accounting.
- Perform monthly inventory checks.
- Order and maintain check supplies.
- Set up and enter deposits in Transaction Pro.
- Assist with month-end close, including bank reconciliations and reporting.
- Track Dual Representative fees in partnership with the Fires team.
- Coordinate wire and ACH payments with the Accounting and Settlement teams
- Proactively collect payments and follow up on outstanding balances
- Ensure all receivable documentation is properly saved, allocated, and maintained.
- Record attorney fee revenue into operating accounts.
- Assist with Fire Cost Funds tracking and reconciliation.
- Manage employee accounts receivable balances from the Employee General Ledger
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- 2+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable or similar role.
- Experience with QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of Transaction Pro is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment.
