
Job Summary & Objectives
The Legal Operations Coordinator will provide day to day support to the Firm’s Senior Assistant General Counsel and the legal review team.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical and organizational skills, able to prioritize assignments, exhibit excellent judgement, and have an unwavering commitment to discretion (given exposure to highly confidential and often privileged information).
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities
Administer, manage, and maintain the Firm’s third-party contract databases and the legal review submission portal
Coordinate third party contracts intakes, including uploading documents in iManage and preparing redlines throughout the contract lifecycle
Generate due diligence reports
Collaborate and follow up with key stakeholder in multiple departments throughout the entire legal review process
Responsible for scheduling and managing agendas for various meetings, taking notes, and actioning follow-up items
Assist with ad hoc and special projects, as needed
Education
Bachelor’s degree, or a combination of education and related experience providing equivalent knowledge.
Skills and Experience
3+ years of related experience as an executive assistant with project coordination experience preferred
Ability to work in a high pace, high volume environment by prioritizing assignments to meet the needs of the Firm
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with internal stakeholders and third parties
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
Ability to follow up and track open assignments with stakeholders and work under tight deadlines
Motivated individual with an enthusiasm for learning and a positive attitude
Experience using iManage or similar document management platforms
Prior law firm experience desirable
This role requires the ability to work outside of core business hours as needed to meet critical deadlines and support business operations
Physical Demands (required to perform essential job functions)
Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Reaching: Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction
Work Environment
The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions as in typical office or administrative work (normal light, air and space in the work environment)
Salary Information
NY Only: The estimated base salary range for this position is $80,000 to $90,000 at the time of posting.
The actual salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. This role is exempt meaning it is not overtime pay eligible.
