Our client, a leading national AmLaw 200 law firm, is seeking a highly qualified and motivated Property & Casualty Insurance Litigation Associate with 3 to 6 years of insurance coverage litigation experience to join their Atlanta office.
Candidate Profile:
- JD from a top-tier law school with excellent academic credentials.
- Active Georgia bar license is preferred, but the firm is open to considering highly qualified candidates seeking to relocate to Atlanta.
- 3 to 6 years of substantive insurance coverage litigation experience, with a strong understanding of insurance coverage and carrier issues.
- Experience with bad faith insurance issues is preferred.
- Exceptional legal writing and research skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, with the capacity to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Federal or state appellate clerkship experience is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and litigate complex insurance coverage cases, including drafting and reviewing legal documents such as briefs, complaints, and motions.
- Provide strategic advice and representation to clients on insurance coverage matters, including bad faith claims.
- Collaborate with a team of experienced attorneys to develop and execute case strategies.
- Engage directly with clients, offering practical solutions to complex insurance issues.
