Patent Attorney/Agent (Computer Science/EE)

Scope of Work

Looking for experienced patent attorney/agent as contractor to provide patent drafting and prosecution services. Support Federal Government Agency protect its patent rights.

Responsibilities include reviewing invention disclosures, drafting patent applications, responding to USPTO office actions, preparing for examiner interviews, reviewing file wrappers associated with pending and issued patents, and assisting with litigation, licensing, or legal research matters

Qualifications

• Electrical/IT/Computer Science degree required
• Requires Juris Doctor (JD)
• Active Patent Bar
• Must have software patent experience
• Min. 4 years patent drafting and prosecution
• U.S. citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident1
