Job Description

Overview

Under the general guidance of the Manager, Contracts and Systems, the Legal Coordinator will work with YUSA departments in processing contracts and RFPs and assisting with the music licensing program ensuring compliance with Legal, Finance and organizational policies and procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee contract repository ensuring contracts are properly archived.
  • Assist with contract intake and create workflows through the Ironclad software
  • Draft, review, and revise legal agreements in compliance with organization’s priorities as needed.
  • Provide customer service to internal clients and external parties throughout the contract life cycle.
  • Track contract status and efficiencies through the Ironclad software and prepare weekly reports for the Manager.
  • Support the Manager by maintaining electronic contract management systems
  • Monitor contract compliance with established Delegation of Authority procedures and contract approval process.
  • Obtain and review pertinent contract compliance documents from stakeholders.
  • Assist the Manager with overseeing the electronic signature process.
  • Coordinate and assist the Manager with the Request For Proposal (RFP) program.
  • Coordinate and assist the Manager with the Music Licensing Program.
  • Assist the Manager and Senior Director with training internal clients as needed.
  • Coordinate posting and monitoring of content on Intranet per subject matter experts requests.
  • Support Senior Director by evaluating vendor relationships and maintaining a vendor database.
  • Oversee and prepare vendor management reports as needed.
  • Conduct business stakeholder presentations as needed.
  • Oversee other contracts, RFP, music licensing and legal projects assigned.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of three plus years’ experience in a high pace in-house legal coordinator role or related field
  • Exemplifies knowledge and understanding of basic contract terms
  • Demonstrated experience aligning the contract process with organizational and departmental goals and initiatives
  • Demonstrated contract platform experience; Ironclad preferred.
  • Demonstrated RFP and music licensing platform experience; Fairmarkit preferred.
  • Skilled listening and adept at identifying stakeholder requirements and working with the Manager to find solutions to meet/exceed their expectations
  • Strong written and oral communications skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with detail-orientation
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a diverse groups of individuals
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Ability to organize and prioritize multi-step process while meeting short turnaround times
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites

Posted Salary Range
USD $47,344.00 - USD $63,141.00 /Yr.
