Qualifications
Juris Doctor degree required. Admitted to the New York State Bar. Minimum one year experience practicing law in the public sector. Experience handling a variety of legal issues including housing, family, immigration, employment, and public benefits. Excellent analytical, research and writing skills. Strong interpersonal, communication, time management and organizational skills. Ability to interact effectively with various outside contacts and constituencies. Occasional evening and/or weekend hours may be required.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with J.D.-level students, e.g., as an advisor, mentor, or instructor preferred. Background in housing law and consumer law a plus. Fluency or strong proficiency in Spanish. Call center or similar experience.
