This role will be based in our Westchester County office, on an in-office basis.
Position Summary
The Summer Intern will work directly with our attorneys during all phases of litigation as well as assist legal and administrative personnel with a wide variety of clerical and administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Assists attorneys in preparing for depositions, motions, hearings, arbitrations, mediations, and trials.
Assists with exhibit preparations, exhibit lists, deposition preparations and coordination, including reserving conference room and confirming appointment.
Prepares and drafts routine correspondence/memorandum and emails.
Maintains and updates physical and electronic case files as directed by attorneys.
Performs basic document review and light research.
Assists with other department activities, as needed and perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Education & Prior Experience
Bachelor’s degree preferred, in business or another related field

Technology
Proficiency in Windows-based software and Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
Exceptional computer skills with the ability to learn new software applications quickly

The expected pay range for this position is:
$30/hour
Salary will be determined based upon education, experience, job related factors permitted by law, internal equity, and market data, including geographic pay differentials in locations where market pay differs from the national average.
