This team of experienced attorneys specializes in various practice areas, including workers' compensation litigation. They are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Legal Assistant with workers' compensation litigation experience to join the team and contribute to their continued success. Ideal position for someone with civil defense litigation who prefers to work for a smaller team of attorneys. This position is full time, direct-hire and offers benefits including 401k, health insurance, disability, vision, dental and life insurance and paid parking downtown!
Highlighted Duties:
Highlighted Duties:
- Support two attorneys in Workers Comp litigation by assisting with legal document creation, maintenance and proofreading.
- Scheduling appointments, meetings, managing calendars.
- Electronic Filing with Kentucky Courts.
- Dictation and assist with phones as needed.
Highlighted Requirements:
- Prior legal secretary or assistant experience, preferably in workers compensation or similar.
- Good MS Word skills, typing skills and proofreading ability.
- Attention to detail required for this role.
- Excellent experience managing schedules, keeping track of deadlines and anticipating needs around the office.
- ECF experience required.
- Professional demeanor desired.
