As a Paralegal II you will perform paralegal duties under the direction of the Paralegal Manager and supervising attorney in specific practice areas. The Paralegal will be responsible for reviewing, negotiating and processing research contracts including confidentiality agreement, material transfer agreements, data use agreement and collaboration agreement and supply chain and vendor agreements, purchase agreement and service agreements. **We are looking for someone with contract or intellectual property experience.**

 

A caregiver in this position works 8:30am—5:00pm. This position is remote in Ohio, Florida, or Nevada.

 

A caregiver who excels in this role will:  

  • Perform paralegal duties including reviewing and analyzing various legal documents; drafting routine legal documents. 

  • Compile information concerning pertinent issues and prepare written summaries, statistics, charts and/or graphs that clearly detail the findings. 

  • Interact professionally with internal and external entities, including government agencies, expert witnesses, corporations and law firms to gather information or data. 

  • Perform legal, factual and legislative research to identify issues. 

  • Organize, develop or maintain departmental informational databases 

 

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

  • Bachelor's degree or certificate of completion of an accredited paralegal program 

  • Significant understanding of legal process, familiarity with legal terms and concepts in specific area of law 

  • 10 years of Legal Assistant or Paralegal experience in a law firm, health care system or corporate legal department 

 

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

  • Preferred experience of direct review and negotiation of contracts
  • Strong organizational, communication and teamwork skills

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods. 

  • Ability to travel throughout the hospital system. 

  • Ability to operate a computer, audio visual and other office equipment.          

  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information, including the ability to deliver training in person and virtually.by phone.
