The Transaction Execution Team at OakNorth is a dynamic and highly skilled group responsible for closing lending transactions with precision and efficiency. This team plays a pivotal role in ensuring seamless execution by meticulously addressing all legal, regulatory, and operational risks while maintaining a strong focus on client satisfaction. Their expertise in navigating complex lending structures enables OakNorth to deliver tailored financial solutions while upholding the bank’s commitment to excellence and compliance.
 
Are you ready to step up to the challenge? 
Responsibilities:
    • Tracking and managing deal handovers from the Transaction Execution Team to the Portfolio Management Team
    • Ensuring that all Transaction Execution Team members manage their post completion tasks for all lending transactions
    • Drafting and reviewing amendment letters, security documents, waiver letters, and Reservation of Rights letters.
    • Overseeing redemption workstreams, consents, subsequent drawdowns, acquisitions, restructures and ad-hoc deal requests.
    • Managing e-signing, wet-signing (if required by coordinating with signatories as required), and related documentation processes.
    • Handling insurance matters, lease reviews, co-lender queries, and other due diligence assessments.
    • Coordinating handovers and ensuring compliance with all loan-related obligations.
    • Managing trackers for amendments and amended and restated facility agreements 
    • Tracking and managing mortgage and Title registrations.
    • Leveraging AI tools to most efficiently and effectively support customers on in-life legal and transaction management workstreams.
Requirements:
    • Passionate about delivering excellence in service and quality.   
    • Extreme attention to detail and good skills at synthesizing and distilling regulatory documents.   
    • Strong spoken English skills and good commercial acumen.   
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work effectively across teams, time zones and across geographies (in particular with colleagues in India and the UK).
    • Ability to create, compose, and edit written materials.   
    • Adept at performing data compilation and analysis of documents (through leveraging AI tolls).
    • Ability to independently investigate/analyse information and draw/present conclusions.    
    • Ability to work outside of comfort zone and develop new areas of proficiency.   
    • Excellent attention to detail, project management and organizational ability.   
    • Personal drive (proactive), flexible, creative (thinks out of the box), result driven, responsible, curious, team player and fast learner.   
    • Ability to succeed in a culture where change and speed are part of daily work.
