As an Estate Planning Attorney with our firm, you will conduct client meetings and consultations to understand clients’ needs and circumstances and help them design an estate plan that accomplishes their goals and objectives. You will work with clients originated by the firm and other firm attorneys and also develop your own referral sources and business development strategies. Your responsibilities will include:
- Consulting with clients on the creation and implementation of their estate planning strategy.
- Advising clients about their estate planning options, including the pros and cons of various options and strategies, while communicating in a friendly and understandable manner.
- Networking and developing relationships with referral sources including financial advisors, accountants, and other centers of influence.
- Contributing to the success of the team even if it means going outside of your job description.
- Helping to grow the firm's presence throughout the Triangle and the State of North Carolina.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice law in North Carolina.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in estate planning and administration.
- Strong understanding of estate planning strategies, trust structures, and tax laws.
- Ability to manage multiple client matters simultaneously while maintaining a high level of client satisfaction.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a client-focused mindset.
- Detail-oriented and able to work independently and as part of a team.
