If you believe in real criminal justice reform and the core values of fairness, honesty, and integrity, come join our team. The Office of the Commonwealth’s Attorney for Prince William County, Cities of Manassas & Manassas Park is looking for an experienced Paralegal.


About the Role:

This position provides support at the district court level. Duties include reviewing orders, requesting law enforcement case files, reviewing body worn camera footage, compiling discovery packets, and providing Answers to defense counsel. Other duties include updating the case management system and performing other administrative duties as needed. 


Minimum Requirements: 
High school diploma or G.E.D. and 2 years of related experience.

Preferences:

Must have two years of paralegal experience preferably in criminal law.  

Must be able to manage a heavy caseload and be organized and thorough with a keen eye for detail. 

Must be able to work both independently and collaboratively in an office that values civility, initiative, sound judgment and skilled advocacy. 

Paralegal certification.

NOTE: This is an at-will position which serves at the pleasure of the Commonwealth's Attorney. Please attach a resume and cover letter to the attention of the Honorable Amy Ashworth, Commonwealth’s Attorney.

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 08:30am – 05:00pm, 37.5 hours/week

Salary Range: $50,000.00 to $67,000.00 Annual
