Opportunity:
Our well-established law firm has an immediate opening for a motivated Wage-and-Hour Class Action Junior Attorney to join our dynamic Employment practice group in our Los Angeles office. The ideal candidate will be a recent Post-Bar Law Clerk or bring at least one-year of experience specializing in employment litigation and wage-and-hour cases. Requirements:
- Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
- Develop strategies to litigate wage and hour matters in state and federal courts.
- Take responsibility in being part of a litigation team representing clients in depositions, motion hearings, and mediations.
- Develop persuasive research, writing, and oral advocacy skills while being mentored by more senior attorneys.
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience with employment litigation.
- Admission or pending admission to the CA Bar is mandatory.
- Law degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
- Strong written and oral advocacy skills
- Excellent academic credentials.
- Interpersonal skills and a commitment to excellence.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
