Estate Planning/Probate Paralegal

McKean Smith is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Estate Planning / Probate Paralegal to join our legal team. In this role, you will support attorneys with the preparation of estate planning documents, probate filings, and trust administration matters. What You’ll Do

• Draft wills, trusts, powers of attorney, health care directives, and related estate planning documents

• Assist with probate and trust administration from opening to closing

• Prepare probate pleadings, notices, inventories, and court filings

• Gather and organize financial and asset information from clients and institutions

• Track deadlines, maintain case files, and manage probate calendars

• Communicate professionally with clients, courts, and government agencies

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in estate planning and/or probate law

• Strong drafting, organizational, and time management skills

• Knowledge of probate codes, filing procedures, and trust administration best practices

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal practice management software

• Professional demeanor and a client-service mindset
