Medical Malpractice Litigation Associate Attorney

Hancock Daniel is seeking a lateral attorney with relevant civil litigation experience to join our Medical Malpractice Defense Litigation Team in the Richmond, Virginia office.  Headquartered in Richmond, with offices in Tennessee and South Carolina, Hancock Daniel is a comprehensive boutique health law firm that provides a one-stop shop for healthcare clients throughout the U.S. At Hancock Daniel, we provide our clients with exceptional service and outstanding results.

Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience.   Our top-of-market bonus programs reward strong performance. Your performance and productivity will drive compensation.  Hancock Daniel has a minimum billing requirement of 1850 hours.

Qualifications:

• J.D. from an accredited law school 
• Virginia State Bar 
• 2+ years of Medical Malpractice or other complex civil defense litigation experience 
• Familiarity with medical terminology or willingness to learn
• Strong legal research and advocacy skills
• Dedication to excellent client service and passion for the practice of law
