Job Description
A leading corporate law team is seeking an attorney with 3-5 years of private investment fund formation experience to join its practice. This role focuses on advising fund sponsors and investors in structuring and executing investment fund transactions.
Position Responsibilities:- Represent fund sponsors and investors in private investment fund formations
- Handle fund structuring, sponsor-level transactions, and secondary transactions
- Advise on general partner and management company structures
- Negotiate and draft agreements related to limited partner and portfolio company interests
- 3-5 years of experience in private investment fund formation at a corporate law firm
- Strong understanding of fund structuring, sponsor transactions, and LP investments
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
- High-level academic achievement from a nationally recognized law school
- Competitive salary ($260,000 - $365,000) based on experience and location
