Support legal compliance related to licensing, insurance, and employment regulations across multiple states

Conduct legal research on applicable laws, particularly in the security and labor sectors

Assist in responding to subpoenas, incident documentation, and litigation support

Maintain legal files, contract management systems, and renewal calendars

Liaise with external counsel, clients, and internal departments to support timely legal processes

Monitor updates in laws impacting private security firms (e.g., labor laws, liability coverage, industry regulations)

Support insurance claims, audits, and internal investigations as needed

Qualifications

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies or related field (Paralegal Certificate preferred)

3+ years of paralegal or legal assistant experience; experience in the private security or service industry is a plus

Strong knowledge of contract law and legal documentation standards

Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and shifting priorities

Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal document management systems

Familiarity with state-specific licensing and employment requirements in the security industry is a plus

Preferred Attributes
