Litigation Paralegal - Atlanta

Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell, & Berkowitz, P.C. has an immediate opening for a Litigation Paralegal in its Atlanta Office. Candidates must have either a Bachelor's Degree and/or a paralegal certificate from an ABA approved paralegal program and at least two years of prior defense litigation experience. The successful candidate will have experience performing the following tasks: Assisting trial counsel in all areas of client representation including drafting correspondence and pleadings; preparing discovery and discovery responses; document management; preparing for depositions, mediation, arbitration and trial and supporting attorneys at trial. The successful candidate must have a knowledge of court rules, proficiency in paper and e-filing (state and federal) and knowledge of court websites and research skills. Candidates should possess strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication (oral and written) skills. Each candidate must be able to handle multiple projects at the same time, be willing to work overtime, if necessary, and willing to travel for trial.
