
Job Summary:
A client of the 415 Group is actively seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Legal Assistant to come and join their team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive administrative and legal support to ensure the smooth operation of our office.
Key Responsibilities:
· Greet and direct clients professionally and courteously.
· Manage incoming calls, screen inquiries, and route messages appropriately.
· Maintain office supplies, including ordering and stocking as needed.
· Transcribe dictation, scan, and organize legal documents.
· Handle office filing and document processing, including redlining and revising agreements, pleadings, and correspondence.
· Schedule and manage calendar appointments, deadlines, and court dates.
· Perform e-filing of pleadings in compliance with court requirements.
· Accurately record and enter attorney billable time.
Qualifications & Skills:
· Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a Legal Assistant.
· Strong time management, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook) and familiarity with office equipment (copy/scanning machines).
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Ability to work efficiently in a small business environment and collaborate effectively with team members.
· A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt.
