Caldwell Law is seeking a detail-oriented, compassionate, and personable individual to join our team as a Paralegal. This role is integral to our estate planning process, requiring not only excellent communication and organizational skills but also the ability to engage clients with confidence and warmth. If you are someone with paralegal experience, particularly in estate planning, and possess strong interpersonal skills, we encourage you to apply.

Job Summary

At Caldwell Law, we foster a supportive and collegial environment. In this role, you will take the lead in meeting with clients, conducting introductory consultations and signing appointments, and acting as a Notary. We are looking for someone with a sales-oriented personality—a professional who is personable and engaging, making clients feel supported and confident in the process. You will also review estate planning documents and help clients navigate the signing of their plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review client files before meetings.
  • Draft, review, and send Representation Letters.
  • Lead introductory client meetings to explain office processes and next steps.
  • Conduct signing meetings to notarize estate planning documents.
  • Provide clear and compassionate communication with clients.
  • Review estate planning documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Support the team with ideas for process improvements.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week


Requirements
    • Paralegal experience with a focus on estate planning.
    • Strong interpersonal skills—ability to connect with clients and provide emotional support, especially during sensitive situations.
    • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Highly organized with the ability to track tasks and follow up proactively.
    • proactive team player who contributes ideas for improving processes and workflows.
    • Comfortable acting as a Notary (or willing to become one).
