Job Summary:
The Director of Operations will be responsible for the strategic and operational management of the firm's Personal Injury practice areas. This role involves overseeing day-to-day operations, managing staff, optimizing workflows, and ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in law firm operations, exceptional leadership skills, and a track record of driving operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the operational management of the firm's Personal Injury Practice area.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to improve efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards in all practice areas.
- Manage and mentor a team of legal professionals, paralegals, and administrative staff.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to set performance goals and metrics for each practice area.
- Optimize workflow processes and implement best practices across all practice areas.
- Oversee case management systems and ensure accurate and timely documentation.
- Develop and manage budgets, financial forecasts, and operational reports.
- Lead due diligence and negotiations for mergers and acquisitions.
- Develop strategies to enhance revenue generation and control costs.
- Conduct regular financial analysis and report to stakeholders.
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performing work environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field; a Master’s degree or JD is preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in law firm operations or a related field, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of Personal Injury.
- Proven ability to develop and implement operational strategies and improvements.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in case management software and other legal technology tools.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
- High level of integrity and professional ethics.
Compensation Range:
$300,000 - $400,000 USD
Benefits: Full Time Employees and Part Time Employees over 30 hours per week
