Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Draft, proofread, and file or send legal documents such as lawsuits and demand letters 
  • Email communications and mail, outgoing and ingoing in a timely manner 
  • Conduct PIP audits, gather necessary documents and information to begin building a case 
  • Organize all legal documents in a confidential way 
  • Working Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Teams 
  • Confirm case statuses and generate reports 
  • Note taking 

Qualifications: 

  • Customer service skills 
  • Team player, works well with others in a group setting 
  • Strong organizational skills 
  • Working knowledge of legal terms and procedures, preferred  
  • Effective verbal and communication skills 
  • Minimum of 1 year experience or in-house legal experience 
  • Proficient in MS Office

Travel Requirements: Up to 25% of travel for work-related tasks within the state and it is covered by the firm 

Salary: Competitive compensation based on experience 

Schedule: This position is ON-SITE in our Fort. Lauderdale office, with no remote/ hybrid schedule. Schedule is Monday – Friday, 8-hour shifts, 8:30am-5:30pm
