Speaks Law Firm believes that our team members are the driving force that makes our firm successful and brings value to our clients. We are looking for an experienced Lead Case Manager to lead and develop our exceptional team of legal support professionals in our Charlotte office. Candidates must have a minimum of three (3) years of case management experience specific to personal injury and a minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience in a legal setting. This position will report to our Charlotte office and hours of work are Mon-Fri 8:30-5:30.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Maintain timely and effective communication with colleagues, clients, and other professionals
- Supervise a team of paralegals, legal assistants, and balance clerks
- Manage Charlotte office calendar to ensure proper coverage for client meetings and availability during office hours
- Successfully manage a case load and support team in achieving all case metrics and goals
- Ensure routine client contact across all case files regarding updates, treatment, investigations, etc.
- Manage file count and file rotation within your team
- Complete systematic file review of demand packages prepared by your team
- Maintain updated lien and balance information in assigned files
- Request and review client documents including medical records, bills, and health insurance liens
- Understand subrogation and rule 414 payment/adjustments to review liens and balance sheets for accuracy
- Provide consistent support, coaching, and corrective actions to ensure timely resolution of file issues within your team
- Complete biweekly 1:1 meetings and annual performance reviews for direct reports
- Collaborate with coworkers to improve processes by being solution oriented and operate with a mindset of continuous improvement
- Ensure goal and KPI reporting in Performyard
- Track medical management, demand production, and case count for all files within your team
- Associate's degree or higher preferred, high school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a personal injury law firm or equivalent required
- Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience in a law firm required
- Passion for advocating for our clients required
- Must be able to work on-site from 8:30am to 5:30pm Mon-Fri
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail required
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills, Needles/Neos experience a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with clients, senior leaders, and staff
- Understanding of servant leadership, training and development
The is an exempt salary position and is eligible for an incentive plan. Base salary starts at $60,000 annually and depends on experience and qualifications.
