As an Administrative Assistant in our Real Estate department, you will be responsible for performing clerical and support duties related to the preparation of documents associated with residential and commercial real estate transactions.

- Open and close files in case management systems - CMS
- Working in management system Select
- Assist processors with the completion of residential and/or commercial real estate transactions
- Input data, update websites, and perform status inquiries
- File, image and copy documents as needed
- Update firms case management software with appropriate information relating to each file
- Request title search and prepare preliminary and final title opinion for attorney review for both NC and SC
- Prepping PTO's for NC files
- Any clerical tasks as needed to include making appointments and fielding telephone calls
Minimum Qualifications
- Must have Real Estate Closing office experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Proficient in MS Office
- High level of attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize numerous tasks on a high-volume team
- Willingness to obtain notary license in state of employment
Preferred Skills & Experience - These are additional skills and experience that are not required to hold this position, but may provide candidates who possess them an edge over candidates who do not.
SoftPro Experience a plus
1-2 years of experience in an office setting
Active Notary in state of employment
Work Environment
This job operates in a clerical office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Physical Demands
This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files (up to 15 lbs), open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary, operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
