Job Description

What You'll Do
As a Part-Time Estate Planning Paralegal at Woven Legal LLC, you will play a key role in guiding clients through the estate planning process from start to finish. You will gather and analyze client information, including existing estate plans and asset details, to support accurate and effective planning.

Your responsibilities will include drafting wills, codicils, trust agreements, amendments, and powers of attorney, as well as managing document preparation and execution. You will oversee the full estate planning workflow-from initial client intake through final signing-by:

  • Conducting client intake reviews and identifying key issues or missing information
  • Preparing and revising draft documents
  • Leading draft review meetings with clients
  • Facilitating signing meetings to ensure proper execution of all documents

You will also assist clients with funding and maintain regular communication to manage expectations and provide a seamless, high-quality client experience. Collaboration with attorneys and other professionals will be essential to ensure efficient and accurate outcomes.

What You Need to Succeed
To thrive in this role, you should have a strong foundation in estate planning and legal drafting, along with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple matters simultaneously.

Key qualifications include:

  • Experience drafting estate planning documents (wills, trusts, powers of attorney, etc.)
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Proficiency in WealthCounsel and MyCase (preferred)
  • Experience conducting client intakes and spotting key issues or missing information (a plus)
  • Strong communication skills and a client-focused approach
