
JOB PURPOSE
Provide litigation support by assisting with case organization, document preparation, and coordination with attorneys and clients. Maintain accurate case files, track deadlines, and utilize litigation tools to ensure efficient case progression and trial readiness.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in organizing case files, tracking deadlines, and maintaining litigation calendars.
Prepare and proofread basic legal documents, including pleadings, discovery responses, and disclosures.
Communicate with clients, experts, and other parties to gather information and provide updates as directed.
Collect and organize medical records, bills, and discovery materials to support case preparation.
Coordinate court filings, schedule depositions and hearings, and interface with courts as needed.
Conduct basic legal research on case law and procedural rules to support attorneys.
Utilize case management software to maintain accurate, organized, and case files.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Experience
No related experience with a Bachelor’s degree in a related field; or
Equivalent combination of professional experience, education, or certification.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Basic understanding of litigation processes and court procedures.
Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
High attention to detail and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
Ability to work collaboratively with attorneys and team members.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Familiarity with case management or litigation support software
Personal injury litigation experience.
