A leading law firm is seeking a mid-level Intellectual Property (Patent) Transactions Associate with at least three years of experience to join its growing IP practice. This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated patent transactions, collaborating with a team of seasoned attorneys while engaging in high-profile and complex matters.

What You’ll Do

• Advise clients on patent acquisitions, licensing, and related transactional matters.

• Draft, review, and negotiate patent and technology-related agreements.

• Collaborate with attorneys and clients on strategic IP deals across diverse industries.

• Support clients in building, protecting, and leveraging their intellectual property portfolios.

What You’ll Bring

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience with a focus on patent acquisitions and licensing.

• Solid foundation in patent law with demonstrated transactional experience.

• Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.

• Admission (or eligibility) to the North Carolina Bar preferred.

• Admission to practice in front of the USPTO.
