Personal Injury Paralegal

Location: South Miami, FL, 33156

Position Type: Full-Time, Onsite

Salary: $75k-$95k (commensurate with experience), benefits, PTO, standard.


A boutique and confidential personal injury litigation practice in South Miami (Zip Code 33156) engaged with us a Litigation Paralegal. This opportunity is ideal for a dedicated professional with a strong background in litigation, preferably in the area of personal injury law, who is eager to contribute to a firm known for its exceptional client advocacy and become a part of their long-term succession plan.


About the Firm:

Highly specialized high-stakes and complex personal injury cases encompassing premise liability, medical malpractice, negligent security and other insurance claims. They pride themselves on their sharp, client-focused approach and a reputation of standing up for the rights of injured victims and help the local community to obtain the appropriate and adequate restitution. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist attorneys in all phases of personal injury cases, from initial intake through trial or settlement.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses, and maintain case files.
  • Coordinate case calendars, ensuring deadlines are met for filings, depositions, and court appearances.
  • Communicate with clients, witnesses, medical providers, and insurance adjusters to gather necessary documentation and information.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare case summaries.
  • Support attorneys in trial preparation and provide courtroom assistance as needed.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a paralegal in personal injury law.
  • Fluent in Spanish (written and spoken) to effectively communicate with diverse clients.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with legal software and case management systems.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • A track record of long-term tenure in prior roles, demonstrating loyalty and commitment.
  • Familiarity with South Florida legal processes and court systems.
  • Certification from an accredited paralegal program is a plus.
