
Senior Litigation Paralegal – Commercial & Bankruptcy Litigation
A well-respected full-service law firm in downtown Orleans is seeking a seasoned Senior Litigation Paralegal to join its commercial and bankruptcy litigation team. This is a high-volume desk supporting multiple attorneys across varied practice areas, offering a competitive salary plus a year-end bonus based on billables and collections (minimum 120 billable hours/month).
Responsibilities:

Manage filings in State, Federal, and City courts, including lien recordations.

Conduct forensic analysis of turnover/discovery documents and debtor financial records.

Draft and manage discovery: propound, respond to requests, and maintain document productions.

Prepare and organize deposition and trial materials—deposition schedules, witness files, trial notebooks, and exhibits.

Coordinate with attorneys, clients, and forensic experts; summarize deposition transcripts.

Perform legal research via Westlaw and manage case files in iManage or similar systems.

Utilize Relativity for document review and analysis, and advanced Excel skills for bankruptcy clawback actions.

Maintain attorney calendars, track deadlines, and assist in hearing/trial preparation.
Requirements:

8–10 years of litigation paralegal experience, preferably in commercial or bankruptcy matters.

Proven proficiency with iManage (or equivalent document management) and Relativity.

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for complex data analysis.

Strong organizational ability, attention to detail, and capacity to juggle multiple high-priority tasks.

Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
