
Job Description
Kirton McConkie, a large Salt Lake City law firm, has an exciting employment opportunity for a highly skilled legal assistant to join its dynamic International/Immigration Team. The ideal candidate will have a positive "can-do" attitude to meet the needs of high-level clients and attorneys.
Responsibilities
- Oversight of individual client preferences, client accounts, and requests.
- Track billing records and help send billing invoices prepared by Accounting.
- Assemble and file immigration petitions.
- Track case status progress with great attention to detail.
- Maintain attorney's calendar and other administrative work including check requests for client filings and reimbursements.
Qualifications
- Excellent writing, communication, and analytical skills.
- Can create positive client interactions through understanding and communicating information effectively in writing, by phone, by e-mail, or in person.
- High attention to detail.
- Self-motivated and proactive.
- Ability to both follow instructions, and to think and work independently.
- Prior U.S. immigration experience is strongly preferred.
- Preference may be given to applicants who are fluent in Spanish.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
